The areas, by season
Catania is one of southern Italy's nightlife capitals, with an offer that shifts with the season and the neighbourhood. In winter, nightlife concentrates in the historic centre — Via Gemellaro, Via Santa Filomena and the San Berillo district, now redeveloped with murals, galleries and independent venues — with live music and DJ sets until late. In spring and summer the centre of gravity shifts to the coast, among seasonal venues and clubs.
